KEVIN BJÖRN WECKSTRÖM

Kevin Björn Weckström (b. 2001) is a Finnish contemporary artist working primarily with ceramics. His practice is rooted in an intuitive relationship with clay — a material he began exploring at an early age through sculptural forms.

Weckström is the grandson of renowned Finnish ceramic artist Karin Widnäs, and grew up in close proximity to ceramics, craftsmanship and artistic practice. While this heritage forms a natural part of his background, his work follows a distinctly personal direction.
